Adoption law in NSW

While I was reading the article about rights and responsibilities of parties in adoption in NSW, the impression was that adopted child, generally has the same rights as any other child with some additional rights.
Adoptive parents have restriction and responsibilities as follows:
  •     The prospect  adoptive parent must prove their ability to carry out responsibilities as parents.
  •         Free child’s access to info about bio-parents after age of 18 years,
  •          Child’s legal right to abandon adoptive parents anytime for any reason,
  •          Possible bio parents’ intervention in their lives after child turns 18.
  •      Re-adoption by native parents is possible but requires the permission of adoptive parents.
